Senior Resources of Guilford, formerly known as United Services for Older Adults since 1977, is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the diverse community of seniors and their families in Guilford County. Its mission is to enhance the independence, health and quality of life for older adults by providing supportive services and advocating for their needs. With over 40 years of experience, it is the leading provider of home and community-based services for seniors in the region. Through programs like the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Program, Family Caregiver Support Program, Meals on Wheels, Senior Wheels Medical Transportation Program and Rural Outreach, it addresses the unique needs of seniors in our community, ensuring they receive the care and support necessary for fulfilling lives. By collaborating with volunteers, community organizations and local businesses, the organization strives to serve the public with compassion and professionalism, supporting sustainable economic growth and promoting the overall health and vitality of Guilford County.

Senior Resources of Guilford is the sponsoring organization for a variety of federal, state, and locally funded programs that help senior adults maintain their independence and stay engaged in community activities. Its programs are inclusive and open to all individuals who meet the established criteria, regardless of race, color, creed or sex, and it doesn’t discriminate in its employment practices. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Senior Resources of Guilford is eligible to receive tax-deductible donations to support its mission. With offices in Greensboro and High Point, it has services and activities at locations throughout the county.
