Jennifer Weiss

Vice President, Structured Capital & Reinsurance | Alternative Markets

As Vice President-Structured Capital & Reinsurance at Arch MI, Jennifer Schneider Weiss is primarily responsible for the Bellemeade mortgage insurance-linked note (MILN) program.

She has 20-plus years of capital markets experience, focused mainly on mortgage- and asset-backed securities. Jennifer spent more than eight years at Bear, Stearns & Co., managing over 100 securitizations of non-Agency mortgage loans covering the full spectrum of credit, including prime, super-jumbo, Alt-A, subprime, scratch & dent, reperforming and non-performing transactions.

Jennifer also managed rating agency, mortgage insurer and bond insurer relationships as well as evaluating credit on more than a trillion dollars of mortgage collateral. Her career includes 12 years with several ratings agencies, where she developed mortgage models and ratings criteria, and rated over $50 billion of securitizations.

She holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration with concentrations in finance and economics from Arcadia University.
