Kama Johnson is Arch MI’s Senior Account Manager for Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

She has built an impressive 27-year career with Arch MI, earning a reputation for delivering strategic value to her partners, progressive leadership and deep industry expertise. Kama is known for combining sharp market insights with a relationship-first approach that helps clients grow confidently in an ever-changing lending landscape.

She holds both the Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) and Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designations from the Mortgage Bankers Association — elite credentials that reflect her commitment to excellence in the mortgage field.

The Minnesota Mortgage Association named Kama as its 2025 Industry Rep of the Year. A passionate industry advocate, Kama has served for many years on the organization’s Board, where she has also led multiple committees and initiatives supporting professional development, collaboration and advancement.

She is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in Spanish.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, who is a business owner, and two daughters. One of her children is studying architecture at Iowa State University and the other is a senior at Wayzata High School and competes in gymnastics. Whether in business or at home, Kama brings the same energy, dedication and enthusiasm to everything she does.
